Summer means shopping in America!

OK, I've had to set a limit for myself because I could just keep buying and buying stuff that "I need" to bring back here.
  • "sporting" stuff from Vermont
  • ONE new PS2 game: Champions (Return to Arms)
  • SCUBA refresher video
  • First Aid masks
  • "Das Boot" on DVD
And then there's stuff that I'd love, but can't justify
  • a replacement for my 5 year old PowerBookG4
  • Garmin GPSMAP 60CS
What do you want for the summer?

Now wait a second... not fair! I wasn't thinking of food. If we're going down that road I'm just gonna have to say:
-hot pastrami sandwich (a ruben is good with me too)
-"real" vienna sausage
-sirloin steak
-clam chowda
-tacos
-NY strawberry cheese cake
-Ethiopian
-Hawaiian Portuguese sausage

Oh, ear candles!! I'm really curious. ;)

Hmm... I just did some research on ear candles and found that they might not be such a great idea. And The Straight Dope had a similar message to pass on. Oh well, I guess ear candles might not be such a great idea.

To hell with the SCUBA refresher video. The shipping will cost as much as the refresher materials. Maybe we can find the stuff at the Maui Dive Shop. HJ will just have to settle for some hands-on review. I hope you didn't forget anything.

I didn't order the GPSMAP 60CS but I did settle for the much less expensive Foretrex 101. It has gotten great reviews and along with maps that I've made from Delorme's Topo software, I can do all of the way pointing manually. That'll be better if the GPS ever dies anyhow... back to the good ole compass.
